Teaching hours: daily, 08:00–12:00 and 18:00–21:00 China time (UTC+8). Available start times depend on the lesson length.

Which lesson should I choose?
Choose the option closest to your goals. If you’re unsure, start with a trial lesson so we can discuss your level and find a suitable focus together.
Can I learn with you as a complete beginner?
Yes. Lessons are adapted to your current level, from your first words to more advanced Mandarin. Clear English explanations help you understand what you’re learning.
What happens in a trial lesson?
We’ll get to know each other, talk about your learning goals, and explore your current level. It’s a chance to experience my teaching and discuss a plan for future lessons.
How long are lessons, and how much do they cost?
A trial lesson is 30 minutes for US$20. Regular one-to-one lessons are 60 minutes for US$50.
How do I book and pay?
Choose your lesson and an available time in the calendar, then submit your details. No payment is collected on this page. I’ll contact you by email to confirm the lesson arrangements and payment method.
What do I need for an online lesson?
A computer or tablet, a stable internet connection, and a working microphone and camera. Your confirmation will include the details for joining.
Are private lessons part of the Academy membership?
Private lessons are booked separately. The Academy offers HSK 1 and Travel Chinese video lessons, weekly live lessons, and a community to learn with.
